Regeneration instead of wait and see

CURODONT™ REPAIR means a completely new approach to prevention and treatment of initial caries. The patented peptide P11-4 – main component of CURODONT™ REPAIR – enables the formation of a scaffold or matrix within the lesion and thus the three-dimensional regeneration of enamel and dentin. The natural equilibrium of de-, and remineralisation is pushed towards remineralisation, and the tissue regenerates with the calcium phosphate provided by the saliva.

Presently, most early caries lesions stay untreated. CURODONT™ REPAIR gives the possibility to treat and actually heal those early lesions. The classical drilling and filling, which destabalises the tooth, is only used where cavitation has occured. 

A treatment with CURODONT™ REPAIR only takes a few minutes. Therefore, the treatment can be incorporated into the regular recalls and dental hygienist sessions.
